Hi Debbie, It’s great to “find you” here. We met on the LH in 2009. I’d like to contact you. Where can I email you? Blessings,

So much good material and so little time to read it all. I have only recently discovered your books and articles. Sorry I have missed them down through the years, but I am trying to catch up.

    Debbie,
I am currently a student at Columbia International University. I am writing a cause and effect paper and stumbled upon your call to arms book, “SOS Save our Sisters.” I have fallen in love with the accuracy and brutal honesty with which you write. As a young woman aspiring to become a journalist, you have inspired and awed me. I have a bit of a different perspective than most on these sensitive topics, as a younger woman I became inolved in stripping, and because of a drug habit, eventually was led into prostitution. I had a customer offer to fly me out to Texas, put me in an apartment, find me a better job and purchase a car for me. The lord intervened, and I cut ties with the man, but I believe his intentions were to sell me into sex trafficking. I have been healing from these experiences, and someday my hope is to become a world traveling journalist who raises awareness of these injustices. I desire to change the world as you have. Thank you for your faithfulness to his calling and your inspirational work. I am honored to call you a sister in Christ. Your words have been a soothing balm to my soul and mentored me. Thank you.
    Jacks.

Hi, is this a picture on your profile from my home country, Faroe Islands?

    • mainelvr4evr May 8, 2017 at 3:56 PM #

Hi Sonni, well spotted! It is indeed the Faroe Islands, one of my all-time favorite places. Was there a couple of times with OM ships and fell in love. The people were so welcoming and wonderful, I will never forget them.

Didn’t you once communicate with Zacharias about the history of Christianity in the Faroes? And subsequently wrote something about “North Atlantic Jewels”, or something along those lines. Where can I find that write up. I have been asked by a Christian magazine here in the UK to write an article on the Brethren in the Faroes. I would like to refer the editor to that article should he like more information. (of course with your consent of source references)

        Thank you for your help

        Sonni
